Owner Paul Schmidt joined the Winmar team in 1993  and held the roles of Estimator, Senior Estimator and Commercial Loss Specialist. In 1995 Paul opened a new branch of Winmar in the Guelph/Wellington County area and has grown the operation into the area’s #1 Specialized Property Restoration firm. In 2002 Paul expanded to Orangeville/Dufferin County, in order to better serve his clients in the area. With his personal commitment to continual training and advancement in cost effective, environmentally friendly and leading edge practices of restoration and his dedication to his employees through training and industry leading compensation packages Paul has proven to be a leader in the field of Specialized Property Restoration.

Each Winmar franchise is independently owned and operated. While we are qualified in many aspects of construction, our specialty is property restoration. No job is too big; no job is too small.
