London, ON. April 11, 2023: WINMAR® (Canada) International, Ltd., is pleased to announce our partnership and support on a new initiative with Heroic Minds and the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
As part of WINMAR© Canada’s Corporate Responsibility and Community Engagement we are honoured to be aligned with this important initiative. Our goal is to be a leader in the communities that we serve and to be part of the solution for those experiencing mental health challenges by providing awareness, coping strategies, support, and resources.
Heroic Minds is about what comes before the actions you take, wisdom, character, and life values, the root of well-being and performance. To give you the tools to maintain this powerful psychological foundation, while providing endless wisdom from professionals all over the world in an enjoyable and actionable way; breaking down barriers and the stigma that is associated around mental health struggles.
The platform is designed to help give everyone the building blocks needed to mentally perform at their peak while seeing what use to be seen as obstacles, as an opportunity.
WINMAR® supports each of our franchises to embrace this initiative. Mental health performance related issues have been on the incline over the past several years and are rapidly becoming a social issue that needs addressing from community and business leaders alike. By way of this partnership, we can bring awareness to this very important issue, and help break down the stigma associated with mental health to open the dialogue within our communities with the hope this will assist to improve everyone’s wellbeing and life performance.
