Mississauga, ON. July 25, 2022: WINMAR® (Canada) International, Ltd., is pleased to announce new ownership of WINMAR® Mississauga/Oakville. In September 2021 James “Jamie” Mowat and Randy Shea acquired ownership.

WINMAR® Mississauga/Oakville opened in October 1992. Jamie and Randy are excellent ambassadors to continue the WINMAR® brand in Mississauga and the Oakville area. With 30 years of combined experience in property restoration services we welcome this transition.

Owner Jamie Mowat joined WINMAR® in 2004 as a labourer at the Mississauga location while attending University. Working extra shifts during the weekends and summer break allowed the experience to advance to water, fire, and mould technician. Upon completion of his BA in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, Jamie gained additional experience at WINMAR® Calgary as Project Manager. During 2012 and 2013 he was involved in several catastrophes and large commercial projects in the region. Jamie returned to Ontario and continued his restoration career with WINMAR® Mississauga as Project Manager and Operations Manager. After 15 years in the industry Jamie has joined forces with Randy Shea. In his leisure time, Jamie enjoys playing hockey, golf and attempting to perfect his low-and-slow smoked Texas-style BBQ.

Owner Randy Shea joined WINMAR® in 2007 as Project Manager at the Mississauga office under the mentorship of a great leader and staff. He was able to develop skills in restoration, construction project management and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry. Randy, a life-long learner, earned his IICRC Master Certification and has formed many relationships in the insurance industry to further promote the WINMAR® brand and increase business in the area. During 2018 to 2021 Randy worked with WINMAR® Brampton to gain additional experience. Now with more than15 years in restoration Randy has teamed up with Jamie Mowat as owner and operator of WINMAR® Mississauga/Oakville.
