WINMAR® Health & Safety Procedures for COVID-19

Your Health & Safety Matters to WINMAR® Teams Across Canada

WINMAR® has always been fully dedicated to maintaining health and safety. Our safety practices have evolved over the years to respond to current and changing requirements.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the creation of specific health and safety policies and protocols. These allow us to maintain our commitment to protecting staff and customers, and all Canadians. We are confident that these policies and protocols will help us continue to serve customers’ ongoing needs in the best way possible.

COVID-19 Health Considerations & Best Practices

COVID-19 has impacted all Canadians, including WINMAR®’s customers and locations. As the pandemic evolves, WINMAR® has continually updated our safety practices to meet or exceed local, provincial, and federal guidelines.

We have put systems in place that involve the joint co-operation of all stakeholders. These systems include, but are not limited to:

  • Following the CDC and Health Canada guidelines and standards of cleaning practices
  • Following provincial workplace safety board recommendations
  • Use of approved cleaning products to combat the Human Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training
  • Cleaning and disinfecting our equipment after each use
  • Increased hand hygiene, mandatory use of face coverings, and practicing social distancing in the workplace

Employee Screening & PPE

WINMAR® employees are screened and complete an Employee COVID-19 Health Survey before each workday begins. Our employees will enter your premises with the Personal Protective Equipment deemed appropriate for the job, which could include but is not limited to:

  • Masks
  • Gloves
  • Booties
  • Respirators
  • Suits
  • Hand sanitizer

We will also practice physical distancing whenever possible. It is our aim to make our customers feel comfortable and safe at all times. If you have questions about WINMAR®’s new policies and protocols, reach out to us to learn more.

COVID-19 Cleaning Services

To assist Canadian families and businesses in preventing the spread of COVID-19, we have introduced commercial-grade cleaning and decontamination services at WINMAR® locations across Canada. These services minimize the contamination of surfaces and materials in businesses, schools, buses, and homes, including in high-traffic locations.

For more information about COVID-19 cleaning from WINMAR®, please visit our COVID-19 cleaning page or reach out to your local WINMAR® team.
